Safeguarding
Safeguarding and Child Protection should always be a consideration for anyone looking to enroll themselves or more importantly their child into any sports or martial arts club, more awareness of the need for safeguarding in sport means more people ask about a club's safeguarding and child protection provision, before joining.

The BJJKO provide Safeguarding support to all our instructors and members for complete peace of mind, leaving instructors to get on with what they do best.

Good Safeguarding skills, ensure that a Martial Arts club is safer and more appealing to new students looking for a quality club, and parents looking to enroll their child.
Our Lead Safeguarding Officer acts as an independent contact for clubs, offers advice and support, deals with complaints or mediation, ultimately our service makes for a simple solution and a way to protect all our members.
Safeguarding has never been more important, our team are always on hand for advice and support, in normal circumstances or during extreme situations such as a pandemic, BJJKO club instructors have the guidance of a professional organisation to fall back on.
Our Safeguarding team are constantly updating their qualifications, this keeps our service current and ensures our clubs are safe and protected. for concerns or to open a case regarding one of our clubs or instructors, contact our team - safeguarding@bjjko.co.uk
